Details Neuro ICU/IMCU unit with floating likely between ICU and stepdown areas ICU patient ratio of 1-2 and stepdown ratio of 3-4 Night shift, 12-hour shifts Contract runs from 09/08/2026 to 12/05/2026 No on-call responsibilities Travelers expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month Block scheduling generally not approved Requirements Active RN license (GA or Compact) required Minimum 2 years of experience in the ICU specialty required Strong neuro nursing experience required Experience in high-acuity, high-volume trauma hospitals required Proven success managing critical, fast-paced trauma cases required Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered Skills checklist matching the specialty required for consideration Certification cards and Nursys license verification required for consideration Work history with no employment gaps greater than 60 days required Additional Information Level 1 trauma center providing high-acuity, inner-city trauma care Handles complex and diverse critical care cases Local candidates accepted at the same rate as the travel rate American Traveler Job ID P-730148.
