Job Title Team Member / Shift Leader Location Popeyes & Five Guys Job Type Part-Time / Full-Time Reports To Store Manager Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Team Member / Shift Leader to join our dynamic team at Popeyes and Five Guys. As a Team Member / Shift Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer service, food quality, and team performance. This position offers the opportunity to lead by example while also engaging directly with team members and customers in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Deliver an outstanding customer experience by greeting guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the dining experience. Assist in training new staff members, providing coaching and support to ensure adherence to company standards and policies. Supervise daily operations during assigned shifts, including managing staffing levels, monitoring inventory, and ensuring cleanliness and organization of the restaurant. Ensure that food is prepared according to company specifications and food‑safety standards while maintaining high‑quality standards across both Popeyes and Five Guys menus. Handle cash register transactions accurately, ensuring all sales are recorded correctly and assisting in cash reconciliations at the end of shifts. Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Store Manager when necessary. Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, communicating effectively with team members, and leading by example. Support efforts to achieve sales targets and promote special offers or promotions to customers. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or leadership training preferred. Previous experience in the food service industry, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role (preferred). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with customers and team members effectively. Exceptional problem‑solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Basic math skills to manage cash and register operations. Food handler's certification (or willingness to obtain). Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Ability to interact in a positive and professional manner with guests and coworkers. Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations and work multiple stations.
