Regional Account Manager, Rare Neurology-Kansas City, MO

AstraZeneca seeks a Regional Account Manager for rare neurology in the Kansas City area to build physician relationships, drive sales of Alexion brands, and provide disease education across Missouri territories including Kansas City, Springfield, Columbia, Joplin, and St. Joseph.
Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed sales objectives while maintaining ethical and compliant business practices
- Develop and execute strategic account-specific business plans aligned with brand strategy
- Educate physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals on disease state and product indications
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including account managers, medical science liaisons, and market access teams
- Implement patient-centric partnership initiatives and track sales activities with accurate reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience
- Proven top-tier sales performance and consistent results
- Neurology experience, preferably with neuromuscular disorder expertise
- Ability to navigate complex hospital systems and challenging access environments
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Willingness to travel frequently within territory, including overnight and weekend travel
Compensation: $152,636 - $228,954 base annual salary, plus short-term incentive bonuses, equity awards, and commissions
