This is a 10-month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Job Title: Medical Lab Technician V Pay Range: $35.66 - $38 per hour 1st and 3rd Shift Available Duration: 10 Months + *The salary is determined by an individual's level of experience, as well as any relevant licenses and certifications they may hold. Key Responsibilities: Performing patient testing for busy Core Lab working Hematology, coagulation, chemistry, and urinalysis. Performing patient testing, bone marrow collection, staining, processing. Supporting various departments including Hem, Coag, Urine, Oncology, Dispatch, Microbiology, and Respiratory testing. Education: Preferably a bachelor’s degree; MLT certification is acceptable. Certifications: ASCP or AMT. Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or clinical laboratory science, or BS in Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science with at least 1 year of relevant training or experience, equivalent to Medical Technology school training. OR 90 Semester hours including Biology, Chemistry, and Math, with completed accredited Clinical Laboratory training or equivalent experience. OR an Associate’s degree in medical technology.
