We specialize in small to mega-sized structural steel projects, with unmatched versatility and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.Position OverviewBristol Steel is seeking a dependable General Shop Laborer to support our fabrication and production team. This position assists with daily shop operations and helps ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):Assist welders and fitters with material handling and setupLoad, unload, and move steel materialsOperate hand tools and basic shop equipmentClean and organize work areasPerform basic grinding, cutting, and material prepHelp with inventory and material stagingFollow all safety policies and proceduresPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Previous shop, warehouse, or constructions experience preferred (but not required)Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and perform physical workWillingness to learn and take directionStrong work ethic and reliable attendanceBasic mechanical aptitude is a plusHigh school diploma or GED preferred
