Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Gilbert, Arizona. The role involves providing specialized nursing care in a catheterization lab environment, primarily working in a setting that includes electrophysiology (EP) and interventional procedures. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team focused on acute care within the catheterization laboratory.

Job Details:

• Location: Gilbert, Arizona
• Schedule: Shift hours from 06:00 to 18:30, with 1 to 2 nights per week and weekend call rotation
• Required Qualifications: Valid license, BLS and ACLS certifications, minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a relevant setting, proficiency with Maclab EMR system and some limited Cerner EMR experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Electrophysiology (EP) experience is a plus but not required; ability to sedate patients is preferred
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Additional Information: Candidates must pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving the offer through UNA, with a maximum of two attempts; a pass/fail simulation lab occurs on day 1 of orientation. Candidates cannot have worked in any organization facility for the previous 12 months as a permanent staff employee. The unit utilizes Cerner charting system, and trauma level is 3. The care setting is acute, with a 4-person team on call during holidays, available 24 hours. The organization's cancellation policy allows for up to 4 shift cancellations per 13-week assignment.
