Activities Assistant

Location 2907 E Smoky Row,Carmel, IN, 46033,United States Base Pay $13.00 - $15.00 / Hour Employee Type FT Non-Exempt Description The Activities Assistant will assist the Life Enrichment Director with ongoing programs consisting of activities designed to meet the interests and the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident. Day and evening shifts, with every other weekend required. Performance Standards: Implement a plan of activities appropriate to the needs of the residents of the facility that include: group social activities, indoor and outdoor activities, activities away from the facility, spiritual programs and attendance at houses of worship, and creative activities. Assist with a program provided on a daily basis, which will include days, evenings and weekends. At least thirty (30) minutes of staff time shall be provided per resident per week for activities duties.

Requirements Experience working with geriatric population in a health care setting (at least one year preferred.
