Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $1440 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required with 1 month within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Great River Health System (Direct) Program - Main.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Epic EMR experience in a like unit within the last 12 months required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Telemetry experience preferred.

Unit Details: Medical Care Unit - Med Surg. Medical Care Unit cares for less acute patients, often awaiting placement to a long-term care facility, with a variety of medical diagnoses. Patient population includes geriatric, adult, medical/surgical, telemetry, and psychiatric patients.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend rotation required. No regular call rotation; may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census and must be able to respond and arrive on-site within one hour if called in.

Floating Requirements: Medical Care Unit is shared with Inpatient Rehab; nurse may have to float between the two units. Inpatient Rehab is a designated unit for intense rehab services.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required
