Position : Full-Time, Live-Out Location : Clinton, NJ 08809 County : Hunterdon Ages : 5 months Start date : June Pets in home : 2 dogs (huskies) Car requirement : Must have Driver License Vaccinations : Covid, TDap, MRP required Schedule : Monday to Friday from 9AM to 5PM Compensation : $25 - $35 an hour (based on experience) Position Code : G536CT Duties Primary care for a 5‑month‑old, creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. Age‑appropriate activities, including developmental play, reading, and outdoor time. Maintaining the child’s routine including feeding, naps, and other scheduled care. Light child‑related housekeeping such as bottle clean‑up, tidying play areas, and child laundry. Assist with baby‑led weaning around 6 months, providing purees and finger foods as needed. Basic tidying after children. Qualifications The ideal nanny is warm, nurturing, affectionate, patient, and creates a calm, loving environment where the child feels safe and supported. The candidate should be engaged and present, spending time with the child in play, reading, outdoor activities, and developmental tasks rather than screens. They must be reliable, communicative, and proactive, remaining composed under stress, prioritizing safety, sound judgment, and a steady presence. A collaborative relationship with respect for family values, routines, and preferences is essential.
