AssemblerPortland, OR Immediately Temporary/ContractCome create your career with VoltVolt is immediately hiring an Assembler in Portland, OR 97224As an Assembler, you will:Operate a variety of production equipment, small hand tools, test equipment, and precision measuring instruments.Perform tasks using both automated and manual equipment with accuracy and efficiency.Ensure strict adherence to company procedures, quality standards, and training requirements.Complete all required paperwork, production records, and documentation related to assembly operations.Maintain high attention to detail, including tasks requiring color discrimination and visual accuracy.Communicate effectively in English with team leads, engineers, and management.Schedule:1st Shift: 4:00 AM to 2:30 PM – Monday to ThursdayThis is a Full-time, Contract opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:High School Diploma or equivalent qualification required.Basic computer literacy and mathematical skills.Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or medical device environment preferred.Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments.Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Benefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
