OB/GYN Locums Job in Michigan 24-Hour Call Coverage Beginning ASAP - Ongoing Assignment

Coverage Details
Coverage needed approximately 3 to 6 days per month
Coverage at 3 locations
Two providers needed
Credentialing timeframe: 90 days (Temporary privileges available)

Shift Details
24-hour call coverage, typically 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Weekend coverage required
Beeper/phone call coverage
Call ratio of 1:5
Days of the week vary

Requirements
Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Active Michigan Medical License
Must be willing to cover all 3 locations
Candidates requiring licensure will not be considered
BLS certification
ACLS certification
PALS certification
Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
DEA registration
Clean malpractice history with no malpractice concerns or license issues
Local Michigan resident - Preferred

Required Procedures / Skills
Broad scope OB/GYN experience
Ability to manage routine deliveries
Ability to perform cesarean sections
Ability to manage obstetric emergencies
Routine vaginal deliveries
Cesarean sections
Management of obstetric emergencies


Assignment Details
100% inpatient/hospital-based practice
Trauma Level I and Level II facilities
Average daily patient volume of 2 to 5 patients depending on census and acuity
Opportunity supports ongoing call coverage needs due to limited provider availability to share call burden
Physicians must be comfortable with minimal supervision
