Director OF Accounting

Owning full P&L accountability for multiple business unit segments, the full-time remote CPA Accounting Director will manage revenue, cost of services, and accounts receivable oversight while building a new team and partnering with finance and operations leadership. Key responsibilities Oversee full P&L for business unit segments, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and cost of services accounting Collaborate with Finance Business Partners and segment leadership on financial transactions and revenue recognition processes Establish and lead the new BU (P&L) Accounting function, integrating staff from legacy organizations and driving process improvements Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Required) Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (Required) 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, particularly in revenue accounting for services businesses (Required) 5+ years of experience leading accounting teams with P&L accountability in a multi-segment services organization (Required) Experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition and complex revenue arrangements (Required)
