Job Summary
We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our law firm. We are a firm who focuses on moving violations within the New York City area.
Responsibilities
- Conduct hearings regarding traffic violations in five boroughs of NYC
- Appear in several criminal courts in NYC as well as upstate New York and Long Island
- Negotiate with prosecutors and judges. Advise clients as to the ramifications of any convictions.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school and bar exam
- Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues to best serve clients
- Must have access to a vehicle
