[포지션 개요]

본 직무는 규정 준수, 제품 품질 및 식품 안전 관리를 종합적으로 담당하는 Quality Assurance Associate/Specialist입니다. 사내 부서, 해외 본사, OEM/ODM 제조사 및 사업 파트너 간의 가교 역할을 수행하며, FDA/USDA 라벨링 규정 준수, 해외공급업체 검증 프로그램(FSVP), 입고 품질 검사, 소비자 불만 처리(CAPA) 업무가 원활하게 이루어지도록 지원합니다. 브랜드 신뢰도 유지와 리스크 완화를 바탕으로 미국 및 캐나다 시장에서의 성공적인 제품 출시를 이끌어갈 인재를 모십니다.

[주요 업무]

Regulatory Compliance (규제 준수)

• 제품 출시 전 미국 및 캐나다 규정 준수를 위한 라벨 및 패키지 검토

• 원재료, 알레르기 유발물질, 영양성분표, 내용량, 제품 표시문구 및 수입자 정보 검토

• FDA, USDA 등 관련 규정에 따른 규제 이슈 검토 및 개선사항 안내

• FSVP 관련 문서 작성 및 관리

• 본사 및 제조업체의 식품안전·규제 문서 검토 및 후속 조치

• HS Code 검토 및 원산지증명서(Certificate of Origin) 작성

• 거래처 요청에 따른 제품 규격서, 인증서 및 규제 관련 문서 관리

Quality Assurance (품질보증)

• 입고검사 및 제품 품질 검토 수행

• 제품 품질 시험 및 평가 진행

• 식품안전 및 규제 관련 문서 작성·관리·제공

• OEM/ODM 제조업체와 품질, 식품안전 및 규제 이슈 협의

• 공급업체 및 제조공장 실사 지원

• 제조업체 조사결과 검토 및 시정조치 이행 여부 확인

• 내부 부서 및 공급업체와 협력한 품질 개선 활동 수행

Complaint Management & CAPA (불만 및 CAPA 관리)

• 내부 및 외부 제품 클레임 관리 및 대응

• 제조업체, 공급업체 및 관련 부서와의 클레임 조사 조율

• 제품 사진, Lot 정보, 유통기한, 영수증 등 조사자료 수집 및 검토

[자격 요건 (Qualifications)]

1. 학력 및 경력

• 학력:

- 식품과학, 식품공학, 농화학, 미생물학, 화학 또는 관련 분야 학사 이상 보유자

•경력:

• Associate 레벨: 식품/음료(F&B) 산업 내 QA, QC 또는 규제 준수(Regulatory Compliance) 관련 경력 1~3년 (관련 전공자 및 관련 인턴십 경험자 포함)
• Specialist 레벨: 식품 제조, 수입, 유통 분야의 QA 및 수입 규제 준수 업무 경력 3~5년 이상

2. 규제 및 식품 안전 전문 지식

• 미국/캐나다 식품 규정 지식:

• FDA / USDA / Health Canada 라벨링 및 포장 규정에 대한 깊은 이해 (영양성분표, 알레르기 유발물질 표시, 제품 표시문구/Claims 준수 등)
• FSMA(식품안전현대화법) 규정 및 FSVP(해외공급업체 검증 프로그램) 실무 프로세스 이해 및 관리 역량
• California Proposition 65 및 Proposition 12 등 주별 컴플라이언스 및 환경/복지 규정 이해

• 식품 안전 관리 및 서류 역량:

• PCQI (Preventive Controls Qualified Individual) 자격 보유자 우대 (또는 취득 가능자)
• HACCP, SQF, BRC, FSSC 22000 등 식품 안전 경영 시스템 이해 및 감사(Audit) 대응 경험
• HS Code 분류, 원산지증명서(Certificate of Origin) 발급, 제품 규격서(Product Specs) 및 수입 관련 서류 검토 역량

Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Associate/Specialist to ensure the highest standards of regulatory compliance, product quality, and food safety across our product portfolio. In this role, you will manage product labeling compliance (FDA/USDA), Foreign Supplier Verification Programs (FSVP), incoming quality inspections, and consumer complaint resolution (CAPA). Serving as a key liaison between internal teams, overseas headquarters, OEM/ODM manufacturers, and business partners, you will play a vital role in maintaining brand integrity, mitigating risk, and supporting seamless market entry in the U.S. and Canada. Key Responsibilities Regulatory Compliance • Review product labels and packaging prior to market launch to ensure compliance with applicable U.S. and Canadian regulations.

• Review ingredients, allergens, Nutrition Facts, net quantity, product claims, importer information, and other regulatory labeling requirements.
• Identify regulatory compliance issues based on FDA, USDA, and other applicable regulations and communicate required revisions.
• Prepare and maintain documentation required under the Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP).
• Review food safety and regulatory documentation provided by headquarters and manufacturers and follow up on outstanding documents.
• Review HS code and prepare Certificates of Origin
• Manage product specifications, certifications, and other regulatory documents requested by business partners.

Quality Assurance • Conduct incoming inspections and product quality reviews to verify compliance with established specifications and quality standards.

• Conduct product quality testing and evaluations to ensure compliance with established requirements.
• Prepare, manage, and provide food safety and regulatory documentation requested by business partners.
• Communicate with OEM/ODM manufacturers regarding product quality, regulatory, and food safety issues.
• Support supplier and manufacturing site inspections and follow up on identified quality issues.
• Review manufacturers’ investigation results and verify the implementation of appropriate corrective actions.
• Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers to address quality and food safety issues and support continuous improvement.

Complaint Management & CAPA • Manage and respond to internal and external product complaints.

• Coordinate complaint investigations with manufacturers, suppliers, and relevant internal departments.
• Collect and review supporting information, including product photos, lot/expiration dates, purchase receipts, market information, and product samples, to facilitate investigations.
• Follow up with manufacturers to identify root causes and determine appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare CAPA documentation and customer response materials and communicate investigation results and corrective actions to relevant stakeholders.

Training & Audit • Conduct various internal food safety and regulatory compliance training programs, including Food Safety SOP training and new employee training on labeling and regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate and support OEM/ODM supplier management and supplier audits, including on-site inspections.
• Support various internal food safety and compliance audits, including GDP, Proposition 12, and other applicable audits.
• Maintain audit-related documentation and follow up on corrective actions and improvement activities.

Cross-Functional Communication • Communicate with internal departments, headquarters, suppliers, manufacturers, customers, and other external business partners regarding food safety, quality, and regulatory matters.

• Request, collect, and follow up on food safety and regulatory documentation from relevant stakeholders.
• Communicate product quality and food safety issues to relevant departments and business partners and discuss appropriate corrective actions and improvement measures.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure timely resolution of quality, food safety, and regulatory issues.

Job Qualifications Education & Experience • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Food Science, Food Engineering, Agricultural Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a closely related field. Experience • Associate Level: 1–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), or Regulatory Compliance within the Food & Beverage industry (Entry-level candidates with relevant degrees or internship experience considered). • Specialist Level: 3–5+ years of hands‑on experience in QA and import regulatory compliance within food manufacturing, import, or distribution. Regulatory & Food Safety Expertise • U.S. & Canadian Food Regulations:

• Strong knowledge of FDA, USDA, and Health Canada labeling and packaging regulations (including Nutrition Facts, allergen declarations, net quantity, and product claims).
• In-depth understanding and operational experience with FSMA regulations and the Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP).
• Familiarity with state‑level compliance mandates, including California Proposition 65 and Proposition 12.
