Line Cook — Cove Point Lodge, Beaver Bay, MN

Perched on the shore of Lake Superior along Minnesota’s North Shore, Cove Point Lodge is a place where the natural world sets the tone for everything we do — including what’s on the plate. We’re looking for a skilled and grounded Line Cook who takes real pride in their craft and wants to be part of a kitchen team that cooks with intention. What You’ll Do:

- Execute menu items with consistency and care, following our recipes while bringing your own attention to detail to every dish

- Keep your station clean, organized, and ready — our kitchen runs best when everyone holds that standard

- Prep ingredients with precision and pride — the quality of what we serve starts long before it hits the plate

- Work closely with the team to keep service moving smoothly — communication and trust are what make a kitchen work

- Take ownership of quality — every plate that leaves our kitchen is a reflection of the Lodge

- Follow food safety standards and handle equipment properly — safety isn’t a checklist here, it’s a habit

- Support inventory and stock rotation so the kitchen always has what it needs when service starts

What We’re Looking For:

- Prior line cook experience or a strong background in a similar kitchen role

- Solid knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

- Composure and efficiency during a push — our guests expect a great meal and you help deliver it

- Sharp attention to detail — you notice when something’s off and you fix it

- A genuine team mentality — you communicate clearly and show up for your fellow cooks

- Availability for varied shifts, including weekends and holidays — our busiest days are often the best ones

- Culinary training or certifications are a bonus, but real kitchen experience and a good attitude go a long way with us

401(k) with Employer Match: Eligible employees (21 years and older) can participate in our 401(k) plan, starting after 90 days of employment. We offer an employer match to help you save for retirement.
