The role

We are hiring a Manufacturing Recruiter to own full-cycle search for plant, operations, engineering, and leadership roles. You will partner with manufacturers — stamping, machining, automation and controls, food production, aerospace, and related industrial employers — and deliver candidates who can start and stay.

This is a desk-and-phone role in our Westlake office. You will manage multiple reqs and clients at once.

What you will do

• Run full-cycle recruiting: intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer, and placement.
• Take client intake on manufacturing roles and translate plant needs into a searchable profile (skills, shift, pay, environment, and must-haves).
• Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, and direct outreach. Build pipelines, not one-off submissions.
• Recruit across production, skilled trades, maintenance, quality, supply chain, engineering, and plant leadership.
• Screen for technical fit, shift availability, compensation, and reasons for leaving. Write clear submittals clients can act on.
• Manage candidate and client communication from first call through start date. Keep both sides informed.
• Hit activity and placement goals. Track reqs, submittals, interviews, and starts in the ATS.
• Build relationships with hiring managers, HR, and plant leaders so repeat business comes from results, not cold outreach alone.
• Stay current on manufacturing labor markets in Ohio and the Midwest: pay bands, certifications, and hard-to-fill roles.

What we are looking for

• 2+ years of third-party or agency recruiting. Manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or skilled-trades experience is strongly preferred.
• Proven full-cycle placements. You can show roles filled, not just resumes sent.
• Comfort recruiting both hourly skilled roles and salaried professional roles.
• Strong phone presence and written communication. Clients and candidates should know where things stand.
• Ability to run several searches at once without dropping follow-up.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing titles and environments: CNC, maintenance, quality, automation and controls, production supervision, and plant operations.
• Organized, competitive, and comfortable with a commission component.

Nice to have

• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, an ATS, and Boolean or X-ray sourcing.
• Existing network in Northeast Ohio manufacturing.
• Background placing engineers, maintenance technicians, or plant leadership.
