Journeyman Hvac Technician
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Hvac Technicians for projects located in or around Pierce County, WA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $44-$48/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Install and service Hvac systems including ductwork, furnaces, heat pumps, condensers, compressors, and thermostats
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydronic, and control system issues
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Perform refrigerant recovery, evacuation, and charging
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics
- Use Hvac diagnostic tools and brazing equipment
- Follow OSHA, LOTO, PPE, and all jobsite safety requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of Hvac field experience
- Journeyman-level Hvac experience
- EPA Section 608 Universal Certification
- Strong Hvac installation and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs.
- Ability to work on rooftops, ladders, and in confined spaces
- Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
