Current Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, with dispatch one day and return the next (home daily, but not every night). Your Responsibilities as a CDL-A Delivery Driver: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tractor-trailer, submitting a DOT inspection report detailing the vehicle's condition. Verify the accuracy of the bill of lading and store keys during off-hour deliveries. Operate the tractor-trailer to reach destinations, utilizing knowledge of commercial driving regulations and vehicle maneuvering skills. Maintain a driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) in compliance with DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and any exceptions. Unload the trailer and deliver products to customer locations. Perform other assigned duties as needed. Qualifications for a CDL-A Teammate: Must be at least 21 years old. Possess a valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL-A). Have a minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience. Meet our organization’s MVR and risk rating standards. Ability to read, write, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely, including understanding work instructions and safety protocols.
