Physical Therapist Aide - Full Time - Days - 8hr QVH

Physical Therapy Aides Physical Therapy Aides (includes Technician and Intern) serve as support personnel under the direct on‑premises supervision of the physical therapist. Aides perform designated tasks related to the management of the patient and the operation of the physical therapy department. Responsibilities Patient transport, preparation and cleaning of treatment areas, clerical tasks, handling of topical medications, and general assistance to patients, physical therapists and physical therapist assistants. Assist pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients with a variety of diagnoses and disabilities. Provide assistance with clinical/patient related tasks under supervision of the physical/occupational therapist. Support administrative duties related to Joint Commission/department of health requirements for therapy services. Participate in audit activities supporting the department program coordinator. Requirements Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Experience: On‑the‑job training. Excellent customer service skills. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Annual 2 hours of stroke education required for those working at QVH. Additional training in audit and administrative support as required. Pay Range $21.00 – $31.50 per hour.
