Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Freestanding ER)

Location

Nashville, Tennessee

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a freestanding emergency department setting during overnight shifts
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a range of emergency conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with established clinical protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient assessments, care provided, and clinical findings in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Tennessee or a compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency department nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a freestanding emergency department environment
• Experience as a travel nurse with the ability to quickly adapt to new clinical settings
• TNCC or CEN certification preferred
