Assembly Associate

Job Description Job Description Position Summary: The Assembly Associate is responsible for the assembly and testing of engines, sub-assemblies and kits using documented procedures and policies at our manufacturing facility in Waukesha. Typical Duties/Essential Job Functions: Learns and follows plant safety requirements Assembles product according to engineering assembly instructions and drawings to meet Quality requirements Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner Perform all assembly-related functions as required with hand and/or power tools Works in a manner that meets plant delivery and productivity goals Ability to operate overhead crane Clean and Paint parts as required using Wash Tank and Paint Booth equipment Maintain a clean and organized work area Ability to work independently and recognize opportunities to contribute Complete inventory and job transactions in Company MRP System Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential Actively challenge existing processes to drive simplification and improvement Support the organization by performing cross-functional ad hoc assignments as requested Supervisory Responsibilities: None Requirements: (Indicate “required” and “desired”) Education and Experience Qualifications: High School Diploma Physically able to lift and handle 35 lbs. Basic Computer Knowledge Good verbal and written skills to communicate with Leadership 2 Years of Mechanical Assembly
