Shipping Assistant
Bridgeworks Inc
- Monday to Friday: 5:30 AM - 5:30 PM
- Saturday: 5:30 AM - 1:30 PM
- Manage time effectively, meet personal and departmental goals, and work effectively with other members of the team
- Possess strong communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic team atmosphere
- Manufacturing or distribution experience preferred
- Must have strong computer/data entry skills
- Prepare shipping documents including but not limited to:
- Bill of Ladings
- Packing slips
- Customs paperwork
- Process invoices
- Verify accuracy of shipments
- Maintain close correspondence with sales staff
- Organize and maintain electronic shipping records
- Coordinate less-than-truckload (LTL) pickups
- Oversee and ensure compliance with 5S Safety Program
- Work closely with shipping employees on the manufacturing floor to ensure efficiency and quality; assist shipping employees as needed
- Develop a thorough knowledge of MP Husky products, services, and capabilities
