Operations Manager
Lubbock, TX
Started in 1954, C&L Supply, Inc. is a family-owned distribution company that serves independent appliance and furniture dealers in Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas. We strive to provide our customers with superior customer service through our sales approach and delivering our product on our private fleet of trucks.
We are accepting applications for Operations Manager for our Lubbock, TX distribution center.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Responsible for oversight of warehouse and delivery/logistics operations for Memphis distribution center.
- Supervise, develop and train personnel including:
o Warehouse operations team
- Truck driver delivery team
- Proactively communicate to District Manager the opportunities and challenges within the warehousing and logistics operations for the Memphis location.
- Maintain and monitor internal controls over inventory and delivery process.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with customers and partners.
- Warehouse management experience.
- Operational experience including understanding of warehouse and warehouse equipment operations.
- Operational experience surrounding outbound logistics and trucking is a plus.
- Strong organizational, leadership, multi-tasking, problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize, organize and accomplish goals by developing and communicating with staff.
- Demonstrate proficiency with various computer programs including Microsoft Office.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, push and pull 60-pound weight requirements.
HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE
This is a full time, salaried position (schedule may vary). 45+ hours/week. Monday through Friday. Must be available to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.
