Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary: Seeking experienced Registered Nurse for ICU float position, providing patient care across CVICU, NTICU, Telemetry, and Acute Care units. The role involves adaptable staffing to meet diverse unit needs with a focus on trauma, neurological, and cardiac patients. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to critical and acute patients, including assessment, monitoring, and intervention. Float between units as required, adapting to various clinical environments and patient needs. Administer medications, including vasoactive agents, IV insulin, and sedation, following protocols. Manage invasive devices such as arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, chest tubes, and temporary pacers. Respond to emergency situations, including codes, massive transfusions, and post-cardiac arrest cooling procedures. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans. Qualifications: Valid Washington state RN license (or license application submitted). Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience, preferably in a large facility. Recent Epic EMR experience required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; TNCC, CCRN, TCRN, and others preferred. Demonstrated trauma experience and proficiency in dysrhythmia management. Ability to float within scope and adapt quickly to clinical changes.
