Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B) Houston, TX, United States | req29764 Responsibilities Deliver products to customers, making an average of 10‑12 stops per day, completing paperwork and providing excellent customer service. Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up. Complete hazardous material shipping order paperwork in accordance with DOT regulations. Conduct and report pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections. Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance. Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet business and customer goals. Continuously build knowledge on Linde’s business operations to help the organization grow, and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED; proficiency in reading and writing in English. Two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a truck driving school, plus a valid Class A or B CDL. Must be 21 years or older. Possess a hazmat endorsement on your CDL or obtain one within 60 days of hire. No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two years. No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten (10) years. Must pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate. Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds.
