Assistant Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to‑day operations of the store, including sales, customer service, and employee management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment. Receives direction and reports to the General Manager. Assists in the supervision of 2-4 shift managers and 15-50 employees. Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to the following: Manage store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Oversee all FOH and BOH operations and make sure they are in compliance with ZFI and Zax, Inc. standards. Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns. Conduct employee orientations and ensure all new hires are properly trained. Support the sales process by providing product knowledge and assisting with sales transactions. Utilize sales skills to drive sales growth and meet sales targets. Monitor sales and inventory levels to identify opportunities for improvement. Provide input on inventory and ordering decisions to ensure the store is well‑stocked and has the right products to meet customer demand. Experience: Proven experience as a retail store manager or assistant manager. Strong background in retail sales and customer service. Experience with sales and inventory management. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and multitask effectively. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
