Mahalak Auto Group is looking for an experienced, highly energetic, self-motivated, and confident Parts Advisors to become a vital part of our busy Parts Department. This is an exciting full-time career opportunity for individuals with automotive experience and a passion for customer service. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist mechanics and customers in selecting and purchasing needed parts and supplies.
- Track all incoming and outgoing parts efficiently.
- Issue parts and accessories to mechanics from the parts counter.
- Source the best prices for parts using phone and internet resources.
- Provide delivery service for parts orders using the company truck.
- Maintain an attractive display of seasonal parts and accessories.
- Organize files, reference books, and other paperwork related to the parts counter.
- Manage the customer backorder file and master parts/price book.
- Process and file repair orders accurately.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Parts counter/dealership experience is required.
- Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds is preferred.
- A friendly and customer-focused personality is a must!
- Proficiency in computers and dealership systems.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (background check, MVR, and drug screen).
