About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President, Product to join their leadership team and drive the product strategy for their innovative educational technology solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for the growth and evolution of the product suite, with a focus on curriculum and professional learning solutions. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of the company, requiring a deep understanding of the needs of buyers, educators, and students to develop effective, research-based, and equitable learning solutions. The SVP, Product will lead a team of experienced product professionals, manage the product development lifecycle, and ensure that the product strategy is aligned with the company's mission to create opportunities for every student through literacy education. Candidates for this role should have a Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, with advanced degrees or certifications in product management, education technology, or related fields being beneficial. A minimum of 10 years' experience in product leadership, particularly in the K-12 education market, is required, with a proven track record in managing and growing complex, multi-product portfolios. The role demands a leader with a strategic vision, the ability to execute plans that meet educational goals, and a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The SVP, Product will be expected to have a passion for educational equity, excellent communication skills, and the technical acumen to make informed decisions about product development and emerging technologies.
