Job Location: Wellness Clinic Youth Center (Glenmont, NY)

Job Position: Family Nurse Practitioner(Contract/1099/Independent Contractor)

Job Background: No-cost education and career technical training program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor that helps adolescents and young adults improve the quality of their lives through career technical and academic training. The hours at the clinic fall between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Flexible scheduling. Excellent hourly contract compensation. Professional liability insurance provided.

Job Description: Here is a list of some of the standard primary and acute care managed at the clinic;

• hypertension, diabetes, ADHD, GERD, UTIs, URIs, STDs, sprains, allergies, wellness exams, sick visits and school physicals.
• Collaboration with Physician

Collaboration with the center's medical staff, wellness staff and substance abuse specialists as necessary.

Role Description: This is a contract role for a Locums FNP with The Locums Company, LLC in Glenmont, NY. The Locums FNP will work on-site and provide medical care to student patients in accordance with their medical specialty and expertise. We offer excellent compensation, and professional liability insurance.

Job Requirement:

• Active and unrestricted state medical license in New York
• Experience in providing medical care to adolescent patients, including performing medical procedures and prescribing medications
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work 5.5 hours per week as needed
• Prior experience as a locums FNP is a plus
• Valid Federal DEA license

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Schedule:

• 5.5 hours per week
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Ability to Relocate: Glenmont, NY Relocate before starting work (Required)
