Phlebotomist

We are seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Midland Park, NJ. Job Schedule Monday – Friday, 9:00a.m. – 5:00p.m. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Work in a Patient Service Center or Client office as required. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. 1year or more experience as a phlebotomist. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working independently or in a team environment. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Preferred Qualifications 2years or more of phlebotomy experience. Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Pay and Benefits Pay Range: $17.75—$24.00 per hour. All job offers are based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, and internal equity and market data. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan for regular employees scheduled 20 or more hours per week. 401(k) plan for regular employees scheduled less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees.
