Geotechnical Engineer OpportunityAllTek Staffing is partnering with one of Pittsburgh's largest civil engineering firms to help them with growing their Geotechnical Group. They have an abundance of work and are looking for a Geotechnical Engineer. This is a direct hire role with vacation, benefits, 401k, and remote work flexibility.Duties/Responsibilities:Slope stability analysisHydrology and hydraulic analysisDesign of site civil and geotechnical structures such as earth retention structuresAssist in dam rehabilitation projectsErosion and sediment control designDeep foundation design and analysisConstruction monitoring and documentation activitiesMonitoring field geotechnical drilling and sampling activitiesInstallation and monitoring of geotechnical instrumentation equipmentField surveying and field reconnaissance in support of geotechnical explorations and construction activitiesEducation and Experience:A BS in Civil Engineering or similar discipline within 6 months of application. Engineer In Training (E.I.T.) or ability to obtain with 6 months of hiring. 0-5 years of experience (Preference will be given to candidates with a strong background in site exploration, civil/foundation design and construction).We need help immediately!
