Experienced Cpa OpportunityWe are currently seeking an experienced CPA to join our firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and reviewing tax returns prepared by our tax preparation team. This role will also involve tax planning with clients, tax return preparation, and providing expert guidance to the tax preparation team. The successful candidate will be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a strong background in public accounting firm structure, tax planning, and preparation.QualificationsCertified Public Accountant (CPA). Current and valid CPA license required. CPA firm experience preferred.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldExtensive knowledge and experience in the preparation and review of individual and corporate tax returns including but not limited to Forms 1040, 1120S, 1120, 1065, 1041, 706, and 709.Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, both domestic and internationalStrong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate a high-performing tax teamExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-tax professionalsProven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentHigh level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical business practicesResponsibilitiesPrepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timely submissionProvide training and support to the tax team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvementOverseer the company's tax department to ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulationsDevelop and implement effective tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize profitabilityResearch and interpret tax laws and regulations, keeping the company informed of any changes that may impact the businessBenefits401K matched100% employer covered insurance: Health, Dental, VisionFull Time - Mon through Fri 9:00 – 5:00 with one hour for lunch from 12:00 – 1:00 (additional time required during tax season)20 days PTO annually, plus paid holidaysBonus pay available weeklyThis is an in-person, single location position.
