Nurse Supervisor (RN)

Responsibilities Three Trails Behavioral Hospital in the area of Independence, MO is actively hiring an experienced and compassionate Nurse Supervisor (RN). This position is responsible for overseeing daily nursing operations, promoting exceptional patient care, supporting staff development, and ensuring compliance with all standards.

The Registered Nurse Manager (RN) will:

• Provide leadership and clinical oversight for all nursing staff during the assigned shift
• Ensure safe, therapeutic, and compliant patient care aligned with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Serve as the on-site administrative representative during non typical hours
• Support staff with clinical decision-making, patient assessments, and crisis intervention
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and patient flow as needed

Qualifications:

• RN license in good standing (required)
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience strongly preferred
• Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in crisis situations
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Ability to work 7:00pm-7:30am for three shifts per week
