Shellback is looking for a full time Buyer responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials in support of our Coopersburg, PA manufacturing operations. This is an amazing opportunity to be part of a growing department in a forever expanding semiconductor market. Responsibilities Responsible for procurement of purchased materials, parts, supplies, equipment, and services in support of the manufacturing facility. Establish alternative sources for materials and services, negotiate with suppliers on delivery improvements, and proactively communicate delivery status to various company stakeholders. Investigate reasons for material delays, initiate corrective action and coordinate related problems with engineering, purchasing, inventory control, sales, and finance. Coordinate Engineering Change notifications with suppliers. Process rejected material and initiate corrective actions. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Proficient in MS office suite (particularly Excel). Familiar with manufacturing, purchasing, and inventory control methods and processes. Ability to prioritize work and multi-task to meet the demands of the project schedule. Strong communication skills with vendors, customers, sales & marketing, and technical personnel. Preferred Requirement 2-3 years work experience. Education Bachelor or Associate degree or equivalent work experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
