DevSecOps Engineer

Overview Position Title: DevSecOps (DSO) Engineer Location: Aberdeen, MD Reports To: Team Lead / Program Manager Job Type: Full-time Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI (able to process, US citizenship is a must) Summary: LufCo is hiring a DevSecOps Engineer to join a small team environment supporting the Army. This position is at our Aberdeen, MD location. The DSO will work in a small, agile team to provide the development environment and improvements to a GPU based wideband spectrum analysis library for military and government RF sensing systems. Key Responsibilities Work with the Development, Engineering, Architecture, and Testing teams to define the set of tools and processes for the continuous delivery pipeline. Collaborate with the Security Lead to ensure that the tools are compliant with security requirements and to streamline the ATO process from a tools and technical process perspective. Assist the Testing Lead to automate testing where possible. Collaborate with the Operations Lead to ensure that the CI/CD processes align with operational requirements. Utilize IaC to design and deploy secure, compliant architecture. Qualifications Education: B.S. degree in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline. Experience: 5+ years experience as a DSO Engineer. 5+ years experience with agile development. 2+ years of AWS experience. Skills: Experience with systems administration, user management, group policy management. Building, securing, and maintaining Linux and Windows based images for use in DoD compliant systems. Containerized application management i.e. Docker, Kubernetes, Helm. Physical Requirements Ability to travel as required. Standard office environment with occasional requirements to visit client sites, labs, or field environments. Why Join Us? Compensation and Benefits Competitive Pay: Annual salary ranges from $120,000 to $160,000. Salaries depend on labor category, years of experience, education, skills relevant to the position, and type of contract.
