Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of client financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Review and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies, trends, and potential issues affecting tax reporting. Collaborate closely with tax preparers to ensure financial statements align with tax return requirements and compliance standards. Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing processes for clients as needed. Ensure all financial reports comply with GAAP and applicable tax regulations. Communicate with clients to gather necessary financial data, explain findings, and address accounting‑related inquiries. Assist in developing internal processes and best practices for improved accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting. Coordinate with external auditors as needed and assist with audit preparation for clients. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience, including financial statement preparation and analysis Solid understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax principles Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data Excellent organizational and communication skills Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel; experience with tax software a plus Preferred Skills Experience in a public accounting or tax preparation firm environment Familiarity with financial reporting for small businesses, partnerships, and individuals Knowledge of tax return preparation processes and required documentation Ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously Schedule: Monday to Friday We are excited to invite talented individuals to join our dynamic team!
