Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) Job Summary: The Registered Nurse is a vital member of the patient care team responsible for delivering direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in assigned areas. The RN will assess patients upon admission, utilizing appropriate interview techniques to gather past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, laboratory results, x-rays, and other diagnostic tests. They will also be involved in planning and implementing a written care plan under the direction of a Physician. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred Active New Hampshire Registered Nurse License required or eligibility to obtain one BLS certification required ACLS certification required Essential Job Functions: Assessment: Capable of performing standard assessments using basic medical equipment. Medication Administration: Requires visual acuity and hand-eye coordination. Communication/Documentation: Maintains patient confidentiality. Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Patient Safety: Meets established standards of job performance. Interpersonal Skills: Interacts positively with team members and patients. Respects patients' culture, lifestyle, religion, and age while planning or implementing care. Accepts constructive criticism and responds to emotional situations positively. Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Current New Hampshire Registered Nurse License or eligibility to obtain. Clinical experience preferred. Membership in a professional nursing organization is preferred. Certification in specialty areas is preferred.
