Qualifications/Experience

• Active RN license in New Jersey
• Prior nursing experience; school or pediatric setting preferred
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Adaptable and able to respond effectively in fast-paced situations
• Experience with health records management a plus

Responsibilities

• Promote the health and wellness of students through assessment, intervention, and health education
• Administer medications and provide treatments as instructed by healthcare providers
• Respond to daily health concerns and emergencies with calm expertise
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure all protocols are followed
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support student success
• Advocate for a healthy and safe school environment through screenings and prevention programs
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student health needs

Compensation for this position ranges from $32.70 to $52.70. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
