ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - MedSurg Ortho/Neuro (12-Hour Nights) Schedule This is a 13-week contract position. 3x12 hour night shifts: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Every other weekend and rotating holidays Job Description Join our team as a Registered Nurse specializing in MedSurg Ortho/Neuro. You will provide high-quality patient care to a diverse population in a fast-paced environment. The unit has 21 beds, consisting of both private and semi-private rooms, and you will be responsible for monitoring and caring for patients post-surgery, as well as managing other medical conditions. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients within the MedSurg Ortho/Neuro unit. Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage IV therapies. Assist with patient admissions and discharges. Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and treatment options. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Conduct basic arrhythmia knowledge assessments and respond to emergencies as needed. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure BLS certification is required; ACLS is preferred. Active RN license in the state of practice. Experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
