Whether you are looking for a fun part-time job or a leadership position with room for growth, at Sun Tan City, you are in the right place.As a Salon Director in Training, you'll help lead the salon team, support daily operations, and create an upbeat environment where both clients and employees feel confident and welcome.What You'll Do:Help manage daily salon operations in a fast-paced environmentLead by example in customer service, sales, and professionalismCreate a positive, client-focused experience in the salonCoach, train, and support team members to help them reach their goalsSet clear expectations and hold the team accountable for performanceMaintain a clean, organized, and professional salon environmentAssist with inventory, sales reports, and other operational tasksSupport the Salon Director in managing sales, expenses, and overall salon performanceHelp maintain proper staffing levels and scheduling to support business needsWork evenings and weekends as needed to provide management coverageWhat We're Looking For:Previous management and/or sales experience requiredBeauty industry or customer service experience preferredStrong leadership and team-building skillsAbility to coach, mentor, and motivate a teamStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentBasic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)Reliable transportation and ability to assist with bank deposits if neededAbility to work a 5-day work week averaging 35–45 hours depending on position statusPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to bend and clean tanning equipmentAbility to lift or assist with lifting supplies and boxesAbility to bend to pick up towels, trash, and other items from the floorAbility to perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizingCompensation: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
