Possess a sharp, well‑honed instinct for what makes a product simple, intuitive, and delightful. Track record of conceptualizing, shipping, and incubating AI native consumer or creative products. The Generative Media team in Labs discovers, delivers, and grows new products at the intersection of AI and media. We believe AI will lower the barriers to creation, unlocking new generations of creators; it will raise the ceiling on what can be created, augmenting the work of today’s most talented creators; and it will allow the creation of new media formats. Our work is always in service of augmenting human creativity. As a Group Product Manager, you will identify and find 2–3 new projects that are at the intersection of media and AI and advance Google’s mission. You will be supported by a small team of engineers dedicated to each project and a cross‑functional team operating across their portfolio. Individual pay is determined by factors including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $240,000 - $334,000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits Define the goal, strategy, and roadmap for 2–3 new Gen Media products, making a clear case for investment in them. Work across functions to bring the products to market, getting experiences into users’ hands early and often to co‑create the product with its intended audiences. Iterate on the products with user feedback, and drive organic growth. Make clear cases to pivot, grow, or turn down projects throughout their lifecycle.
