Amada Senior Care Bensalem, PA is building a dependable team of CNAs to provide nonmedical in-home care throughout Lower Bucks County and Northeast Philadelphia. Our CNAs help older adults remain safe, comfortable and independent in their homes while giving families confidence and peace of mind. Our service territory includes Bensalem, Bristol, Croydon, Fairless Hills, Levittown and Northeast Philadelphia, including the Torresdale, Somerton, Bustleton and Parkwood areas. Why You Will Enjoy Working With Us Starting Pay and Earned Increases - Start at $17.00 per hour. Your base rate increases by $0.25 after each 250 hours worked - at 250, 500, 750 and 1,000 hours - for a total increase of $1.00 and a base rate of $18.00 per hour after 1,000 worked hours. Eligible employees may also use the on-demand payment feature to access a portion of earned wages before the regular payday, subject to program terms and availability. Paid Time Off That Grows With You - PTO begins accruing on your first day based on hours worked, starting at 1 hour of PTO for every 40 hours worked. Your PTO accrual rate increases as you grow with us. PTO may be used after 90 calendar days, subject to Company policy. Flexible Assignments - Day, evening, overnight and weekend opportunities may be available based on client demand and your stated availability. Paid Travel Between Clients - You are paid for required travel time between consecutive client assignments in accordance with Company policy and applicable law. Paid Orientation and Training - All required orientation and training is paid at a separate training rate, which will be communicated before training begins. Team members also receive access to online caregiver-education courses and opportunities to strengthen their skills. Employee Referral Program - A $250 referral award may be available after the referred caregiver completes 120 days of employment and 160 hours of work, subject to the program terms. What You Will Do Provide companionship, conversation and meaningful social engagement. Assist with activities of daily living and personal care within your training, CNA scope and the authorized service plan. Use CNA skills to support clients with mobility, transfers, hygiene, toileting and other essential care needs as trained and authorized. Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping, laundry and organization. Provide medication reminders; do not administer medications unless separately qualified and authorized. Provide transportation or errands when authorized and when all driving requirements are satisfied. Observe and promptly report changes in the client's condition, safety concerns and incidents Assist with hands-on caregiver training as needed by demonstrating safe care techniques, mobility support, personal care practices, and other skills within the CNA’s scope of practice. Accurately document time and services and follow the client's care plan and Company policies.
