PURCHASING SUPPORT SPECIALIST (TEMPORARY – 6 MONTHS)

THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Support Specialist to join our Purchasing team on a 6-month temporary assignment. In this role, you'll help keep our purchasing operations running smoothly by maintaining accurate purchase order records, tracking shipments, and supporting our buyers with day-to-day administrative tasks. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Maintain and update purchase orders in our ERP system.
• Enter, review, and verify purchasing data for accuracy.
• Monitor and process Advanced Shipping Notifications (ASNs).
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding purchase order or

shipment discrepancies. * Assist with resolving order status issues and tracking missing shipment information.

• Organize and maintain purchasing records and documentation.
• Provide administrative support to the Purchasing team.
• Assist with additional projects and departmental support as needed.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous administrative support or data entry experience.
• Experience in purchasing, supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Computer and System Proficiency
• Adaptability
• Experience working with purchase orders, shipping documents, invoices, or

Advanced Shipping Notifications (ASNs).

COMPENSATION

The starting hourly rate for the role is between USD $23.00 and $27.00. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
