Job Description

Veterans Growing America in Woodbridge, VA is looking for one retail salesperson to join our team. We are located on 14901 Potomac Town Place Ste 110. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and engaged.

Responsibility

Welcome customers by greeting them and offering them assistance.
Direct customers by escorting them to racks and counters; suggesting items.
Advise customers by providing information on products.
Process payments by totaling purchases; process checks, cash, and store or other credit cards.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Use judgment to solve customer problems.
Maintain scheduling commitments

Other Duties

Maintain Cleanliness : Perform daily cleaning tasks, including floors, surfaces, windows, and waste management.
Ensure Aesthetic Appeal : Organize and present merchandise attractively, restock as needed, and keep storefront areas inviting.

Qualifications

Customer Service Experience : Proven ability to provide excellent service and handle customer inquiries.
Sales Skills : Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Knowledge of Military Culture : Familiarity with military or veteran communities, enhancing connection with customers and potential small business owners.
Communication Skills : Clear, effective communication with diverse audiences.
Team Player : Ability to collaborate with fellow staff and support a mission-driven environment.
Age : 18+ years old

Work Hours

Morning hours 11:45-3:00
Evening hours 2:45-6:00
Full day 11:45-6:00
