Overview
CT Technologist (CT Tech) – Radiology in Kodiak, Alaska. Start date: 06/29/2026 for a travel assignment lasting multiple weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,423 to $2,578. Guaranteed hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks. Shift: 4x10-hour nights (6:00 PM–4:00 AM). Setting: an acute care medical center with CT and X-ray imaging capabilities.

- Housing provided (1-bedroom); vehicle provided for traveler use; details apply
- On-call with minimal rotation; some weekend and holiday coverage Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging with and without contrast for head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, including CTA and vascular studies
- Conduct specialized studies (brain perfusion, enterography) and 3D rendering/MPR/volume rendering
- Operate CT equipment (Philips 64-slice Brilliance CT) and PACS; manage contrast administration and radiation safety
- Prepare and establish IV access; venipuncture as needed; monitor patients during procedures
- Maintain Epic charting records; coordinate with trauma/ED and other departments; ensure accurate, timely image delivery
- float within scope to cover X-ray as needed; respond to imaging requests in acute care, LTC, and outpatient settings
- Adhere to safety protocols and provide patient education regarding procedures and contrast Requirements
- Certification: ARRT-CT; BLS required
- Experience: 0–1 years CT tech experience; first-timers accepted
- Licensure: Alaska state license required; ARRT-CT certification; pending license submissions may be considered per compliance notes (verify before submittal)
- Skills: CT with/without contrast; CTA; patient positioning; venipuncture; PACS/Epic proficiency
- Other: Ability to work 6 PM–4 AM shift, 4x10s; willingness to be on-call; able to float to X-ray when needed; capable of working with adult, pediatric, and trauma populations Benefits and Support
