Radiology - Interventional Physician

Compensation: $480-520/hr - competitive locum rates, travel covered.
SMH Innovations is seeking a board-certified Interventional Radiologist for locum tenens
coverage at a Level 1 trauma and transplant center in Louisville, KY. This is solo, 100% IR
coverage supporting a current staffing gap.
Setting: Inpatient, solo IR
Schedule: 8:00a 4:30p (8-hr shift, 30-min unpaid lunch), on call 4:30p 8:00a
Volume: 40 wRVUs/shift; complex IR procedures at a Level 1 trauma / transplant
center
PACS: McKesson Dictation: PowerScribe Support staff: Yes
Coverage blocks: 9/21 9/25, 10 16, 11 27 (5-day work-week
commitment)
Requirements
Board Certified in Radiology with Interventional Radiology fellowship
Active KY license (candidates in the KY licensing process considered)
24 months of case logs + modality checklist at presentation
Complete, credentialing-ready file; TB/PPD screening, MMR, and current influenza
(or exemption)
Facility credentialing timeline: 60+ days
