Medical Assistant - Clinic Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's healthcare team in Irving, TX. Job Details: Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Location: Irving, TX 75038 Job Type: Travel Contract Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay Range: $21.00 to $23.00/hour on W2 Duties: Organize the clinical environment and provide support to physicians, nursing staff, and other clinical team members. Assist with patient care, identify patient needs or concerns, and communicate relevant information to the provider or clinical team. Provide quality customer service while maintaining patient privacy, confidentiality, and infection control standards. Perform clinical and administrative duties within the Medical Assistant scope of practice and under provider supervision. Complete required training and follow established policies and procedures. Requirements: Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Certification(s): Current nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification, or ability to obtain certification within 180 days of employment; current BLS certification through an approved American Heart Association Training Center or Military Training Network Years of experience: 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience preferred Skills/Specialties/Technology: Basic computer literacy, intermediate Excel skills, medical terminology, ICD-10 and CPT coding knowledge preferred, strong communication and customer service skills, ability to respond calmly in emergency situations Preferred: Bilingual skills Additional Information: Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 35 lbs. with assistance; stand for extended periods; use fine motor skills to operate equipment; and perform basic and complex problem-solving tasks.
