PRN Food Driver- Parkville

About Us:

Chesapeake Treatment Center, a 29-bed residential treatment center for adolescent and young adult males located in Parkville, MD (near Towson) has an immediate opening for a full time Driver. Chesapeake Treatment Center Inc., provides a comprehensive continuum of treatment for adolescents and young adults that experience complex mental health, sexualized behaviors, trauma, substance abuse, gang and other related issues. The primary goal of the program is to support each youth with changing unhealthy thinking and poor decision making to more adaptive and pro-social behaviors.

Schedule:

• Monday - Sunday
• Flexible Schedule 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• May need to come in earlier on stay later depending on the needs of the patients.

Responsibilities:

The overall responsibility of the Dietary Driver is to transport food and pick up items for the facility.

• Food Service Preparation & Delivery- Unpack and setup dinner for residents in an efficient and timely manor according to the facility schedule.

• Ensure that food is served at proper temperatures and that all Health Department regulations are followed during the handling of food

• Maintain a professional manner with residents as well as with other staff.

• Performs other duties and responsibilities assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent/ Strenuous physical activity (e.g. heavy lifting, sustained physical effort, extensive carrying, pushing/ pulling, etc.)

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience working in an institutional setting

• High School Diploma, GED, or higher degree

• ServSafe® Certification preferred

• Knowledge of State Health Department regulations

• 21 years of age or older
