About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred, scrub experience is a plus License: Valid SC or multi-state/compact nursing license required Certifications: Required - ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Valid radiation badge must be provided by agency Must be available for on-call duties 1-2 nights per week, one weekend in a six-week period, and possible holiday call. Description: Cath Lab Registered Nurse needed. Start date will be 2-3 weeks from the offer. The shift consists of four 10-hour days, from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. There are five cath lab rooms plus a hybrid OR. Preferred cases include right and left heart cath diagnostic, PCI, complex PCI, CTO, ASA, PFO/ASD, MitralClip, Watchman, PTMV, TAVR, and peripheral vascular procedures. First-time travelers are accepted. Candidates must possess previous charge experience. Experience with the Epic charting system is preferred. This position involves managing the interpretation and administration/monitoring of procedural sedation. Candidates will be expected to manage daily patient care for adults and geriatrics. Total daily census will vary. Flexibility in patient ratios may be required. Local candidates within a 60-mile radius may be considered but will be subject to different rate considerations. All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application and will be evaluated based on facility needs. This position may require emergency response during hurricane season, which runs from June through November. Candidates should ensure no new or extension assignments are confirmed during this period. Travelers should be prepared for potential mandatory assignments during emergencies.
