Per Sé Group is seeking a creative and collaborative Marketing & Communications Specialist to support marketing and communications initiatives for a major energy organization in Cedar Rapids, IA.

You'll help take marketing initiatives from concept through execution , working across teams to develop messaging, coordinate campaigns, support events and sponsorships, and make sure communications reach the right audience at the right time.

What You'll Do

• Support the development and execution of marketing and communications initiatives for internal and external audiences.

• Develop creative concepts and written content that reinforce the company brand and effectively promote programs, products, and solutions.

• Recommend appropriate marketing and communication channels based on the audience and desired response.

• Coordinate marketing activities from initial concept through execution.

• Partner with internal stakeholders and subject-matter experts to develop accurate and effective communications.

• Ensure marketing initiatives meet established objectives, schedules, and stakeholder expectations.

• Identify target audiences and apply appropriate marketing strategies to drive participation and engagement.

• Coordinate communications with other planned company initiatives to ensure consistency and avoid conflicting messages.

• Support short- and long-term marketing planning, budgeting, and project scheduling.

• Help manage events, sponsorships, and community-engagement activities .

• Participate in community events that strengthen company reputation and brand awareness.

• Work collaboratively across departments to bring marketing ideas to life.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field .

• At least 2 years of professional marketing, communications, or related experience .

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Demonstrated experience working within cross-functional teams to take marketing initiatives from concept through execution .

• Experience with event management and sponsorships .

• Understanding of short- and long-term marketing planning.

• Experience supporting marketing budgets and project schedules.

• Ability to develop messaging and creative concepts appropriate for different audiences.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives and deadlines.

• Comfortable working with internal stakeholders and subject-matter experts.

• Proficiency with common business software and productivity tools.
